Overview

RoamChoice is an independent travel eSIM comparison site operated as a lean soft-launch project from the Netherlands. The current launch focuses on checked Japan eSIM plans. We aim to collect as little personal data as possible.

Data we process

When you visit the site, our hosting provider may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser information, requested pages, timestamps and error logs. This is used to keep the site secure, available and working correctly.

RoamChoice does not currently offer user accounts, checkout, comments, contact forms or newsletter signup. You do not need to submit personal data to compare plans on RoamChoice.

Affiliate links

Some outbound provider links may be affiliate links. If you click a provider offer, you leave RoamChoice and the provider or affiliate network may process data under its own privacy policy. RoamChoice does not control provider checkout pages.

Analytics and cookies

Analytics is currently configured as Umami (self-hosted, cookieless). Non-essential analytics are not enabled for this launch.

Click tracking is currently disabled. If click tracking, analytics or other non-essential cookies are enabled later, this policy and the cookie notice should be updated before use.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. If you contact RoamChoice about privacy, include enough information to identify your request but do not send sensitive travel documents or payment details.
